A sent letter gives the future to another person. An unsent one leaves every possibility with the writer. It may prevent harm or miss the only chance. Years later, the words on paper remain unchanged while the person reading them has become someone else.
01 · THE HESITATION

写信已经把情感组织成句子，真正困难的是是否允许另一个人看见。故事可以涉及暗恋、道歉、诀别或给已经无法抵达之人的话，但不必锁定一种关系。抽屉里的信不断提醒写信人：沉默也会改变人生。文章不替人物判断当时对错，只追问今天是否还愿意承担打开它的结果。
Not sending is still an action, arrested at the threshold
Writing has already organized feeling into sentences; the harder decision is whether another person may see them. The letter may contain love, apology, farewell or words addressed to someone unreachable, without fixing one relationship. Its presence in a drawer proves that silence also changes a life. The essay does not judge the past decision; it asks whether the writer now accepts the consequence of opening it.

No catalogue or complete file exists. Short phrases may repeatedly begin and stop, while harmony avoids expected resolution, making hesitation structural. The singer should use articulation rather than tears; some words can remain half-sung for instruments to answer. Returning to the opening’s unfinished melody instead of announcing whether the letter is sent preserves the story’s honest openness.

影片不需要大剧情，可以从写、折、装入信封、走到邮筒又带回四个动作展开。现代版本也可在纸信与手机草稿之间切换，但不要让技术对比喧宾夺主。最重要的是手的犹豫：信封离开口袋又回去，发送键亮着没有落下。最后抽屉关上，声音却没有完全结束。
Paper, ink, drawer and postbox each carry one decision
The film needs no large plot. Writing, folding, placing in an envelope, walking to the postbox and returning can carry it. A modern version may move between paper and phone draft without making technology the subject. The decisive image is hesitation in the hand: an envelope leaves a pocket and returns, a send button remains lit. The drawer closes while the sound refuses full closure.

Everyone has unsaid words, but sharing should not demand confession
Unposted Letter naturally invites participation, but promotion should not demand that listeners expose private wounds by naming the recipient. A gentler route invites writing without posting, or lets the song perform one private reading. The full essay keeps the unsent letter larger than romantic regret; it may hold unfinished conversation with family, friends or a former self.
